Posted: Updated:

Onlinepredators prey on children in the community, and they're getting more creative on howthey lure them in.

That'swhy the Minot Police Department added two more officers from theirinvestigations and patrol unit to the Internet Crimes Against Children unit.

Theseofficers traveled out of state for extensive training on how to catch an onlinepredator.

Inmost situations, the officers pose as the victims.

"Ifyou're out there doing something that you shouldn't be doing expect to hearfrom us. Because we're out there, and it's probably us you're dealing with,"says Sgt. Dave Goodman.

Ifyou know of any suspicious online activity call Crime Stoppers at 852-7463.
