Main Street Minute: Mainstream Boutique

Downtown Minot has been welcoming new businesses allyear, and there's another one to add to the list.

Owner, Pam Karpenko always had aninterest in fashion. But, when she couldn't find what she was looking for inthe stores, she took to the web.

"As I was doing my shoppingonline and searching for fun things, I came across this franchise. It's a small franchise, We are all owned independently, and we all get to do our own shopping,"says Karpenko.

In fact, there are about 40Mainstream Boutiques across the country.

"So, we bring into our store inMinot what I like, and what I want to bring tothe Minot community that hopefully interests them, "says Karpenko.

This boutique was designed to createa great shopping experience for women of all ages. From clothing toaccessories, there's a variety to choose from.

In order to keep that unique factor,they bring in new merchandise everyday.

"We will only get one size run in, and once it's gone, it's gone. And, we try to continue toreplace our inventory with very unique things so you truly are wearingsomething that could be one of a kind," says Karpenko.

MainStream Boutique is on the corner of Central Ave. and Main Street in Minot.

They'reopen Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
