Little Miss Chevious Meets Menoken Students

Posted: Updated:

Things got a little mischievous at Menoken Elementary School today.

Meet Lil' Miss Chievous. This 12-week-old goat is helping kids learn about animals.

"I learned that you shouldn't pet her on her forehead, because she had 360 degree vision, but she can't see on her head," says student Cody Goehring.

Lil' Miss Chievous lives at the Triple H Miniature Horse Rescue. Owner Alison Smith bought a goat to be a companion for a dwarf horse. But the goat came with a surprise.

"We could tell that she was going to have a baby," says Smith. "So, we took her to the vet, and one day after Christmas, she had Miss Chievous. But, she also had two others, so Miss Chievous is a triplet."

Because Miss Chievous was much smaller than the other goats, she had to be kept inside and bottle fed. Now, she's a healthy girl who is warming the hearts of everyone she meets.
And she even does tricks!

"My favorite trick was probably when she jumped through the hula hoop," says Goehring.

"It was really cool when she jumped through the Hula hoop. I didn't know a goat could do so many tricks," says Maggie Dockter.

Smith says Miss Chievous' favorite treats are cheese balls, but she tries to limit her to five treats per day.

Tonight, Lil Miss Chievous will visit a club for adults with disabilities.
