Country Club Construction Moves Forward

Posted: Updated:

It'staken a lot of planning and preparation, but construction on the new MinotCountry Club continues to move forward.

Lastsummer, the country club broke ground on its new golf course in Southwest Minot.

Fromdeveloping the greens and sand traps to all of the tee boxes, the new course isstarting to come to life. With opening day expected sometime in June 2015, the main focus for this summer will be work on the fairways and plantinggrass.

"Ihope that once the golf courses are done and the clubhouse is up and people areable to come out here. It's another thing that we've completed, and it'sanother thing that the flood took away from us. Yet, we were able tobounce back and rebuild it, and do something even better to give back to thecommunity. There's going to be so many different eventsthat we can host out here for the community. I just can't wait to see itcompleted," says Josh Ressler the Minot Country Club president.

For more information about the new MinotCountry Club, there will be a Clubhouse Preview Party on Saturday, March 29at 6:30 p.m. at the Sleep Inn.
