Network Provides Help For Brain Injury Victims

Posted: Updated:

People who are suffering from a traumatic brain injury in the state will now have new resources available to them to help through the healing process.

During the last legislative session lawmakers appropriated $320,000 to help get the network started.

The network will provide information and services to those injured and their families to help they find needed resources in their community.

"For them to be able to feel that there's something there for them, and that they have an idea that they're not in this alone. That they can rely on a place to get information and support," says director of the Brain Injury Network Rebecca Quinn.
