Census Bureau Reports State Population At All-Time High

Itcomes as no surprise that North Dakota's population is growing at a rapid pace. Andon Thursday, the U.S. Census Bureau received numbers to prove it.

Theagency released its annual metropolitan/micropolitan area and county populationestimates showing population growth across all regions of the state.

Anumber of North Dakota communities and countiesranked as some of the fastest growing in the nation.

Fargoand Bismarck are among the nation's top 10 fastest growing metropolitan areaswhile Williston, Dickinson and Minot rounded off the top five fastest growingmicropolitan areas.

TheCensus Bureau reports North Dakota'spopulation has reached 723,393 residents, an all-time high.
