Officers Arrest Man With Stolen Vehicle

Posted: Updated:

The Minot Police Department arrested a 41-year-old man after he was caught driving a stolen vehicle.

Today, police noticed a vehicle with a fictitious license plate being driven by Todd McCray Rathburn, of Williston. Officers attempted to pull the car over, but the vehicle drove away. A little while later, police found the vehicle abandoned at the 1100 block of 10th St. NW.

Witnesses saw a man feeing on foot, but police tracked him down to a nearby apartment building, where the man was hiding in the maintenance room. He was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and fleeing from the law.

Rathburn was also wanted by the Williams County police for failure to appear in court for drug charges.

He awaits his hearing at the Ward County Jail.
