Giving Bones to Dogs in Need

Posted: Updated:

The Souris Valley Animal Shelter will receive donations from one charitable organization whose founder has a close connection to Minot.

Givebones is a charitable dog collar company committed to giving homeless dogs the good life they deserve. For every collar sold, 10 percent of sales go to a featured shelter. For Givebones Founder Tricia Andrews, this month is extra special because she's giving back to a city she loves.

Souris Valley Animal Shelter Manager Kristine Seabolt says it means a lot to be able to have donations from people that are from the area, because it shows that they are still thinking about the shelter and that the cause is still being noticed.

The shelter runs off of donations and without them they wouldn't be able to support animals in the community.
