Police Charge Surrey Woman With Multiple Offenses

Posted: Updated:

A Minot officer was nearly hit by a car early this morning. Police attempted to stop a car that was driving erratically, after the vehicle drove over a curb and into another roadway in the 500 block of 3rd St NE.

When the vehicle finally stopped, and the officer attempted to make contact with the driver, the vehicle reversed and rammed into the patrol car and almost hit the officer.

The driver Staci Wattendorf, 33, of Surrey, was arrested after attempting to flee. She was charged with reckless endangerment, fleeing/eluding an officer in a vehicle, DUI and driving under suspension.

We will have more on this story later.
