Main Street Minute: Five Guys Burgers & Fries

Posted: Updated:
The wait is finally over. For those of you who have been waiting for Five Guys Burgers and Fries to open in Minot, well, today is your lucky day.

Once doors opened at 11a.m on Monday, customers were shuffling in to get their hands on a burger and fries.

"We want to have the best burger that a person can buy,” says Andrew Donath the general manager of Five Guys Burgers & Fries.

Many people traveled the extra mile before this Minot location opened.

"At our other locations, like Bismarck for example, a lot of Minot people traveling through stopped there. And, we've had such positive feedback from our Bismarck location. They have been spreading the word in Minot,” says Donath.

Five Guys prides themselves on serving up big portions to hungry customers.

"We've got three styles of fries that will feed one person, two to three or four so, if we're not getting complaints about eating too many fries. Or, getting too many, then we're not doing something right,” says Donath.

And, they're working hard to make sure you're having fun while you eat.

"Five Guys is a family. Beyond that, it's fun to work here. We have a good time. We like to listen to our music loud, and the crew and the management is a team. Everybody is supporting each other, and it’s just been really fun,” says Donath.

This is the fourth Five Guys in the state of North Dakota. If you would to check them out, they're open Monday through Sunday from 11a.m to 10 p.m and are located in the Southgate Crossing.
