Hazen Takes On Tommies

Posted: Updated:

The Bison obviously played well to win the region and their pitching was excellent. Hazen only allowed three-runs in its three-victories.

Offensively, the team scored 20-runs in those three-wins.

"We play best under pressure, and I think we are to be playing better ball in the state tournament," says Hazen senior Kolby Metzger.

Brent Hysjullien: "I've been trying to tell these guys that they have what it takes. It's a great experience, and we are going to go and try to win it," says Bison head coach Brent Hysjullien.

Hazen will open the Class-B tournament against Thompson. The Tommies are the number-three seed.

It's the second game on Thursday, and it's scheduled to start at around 1:30 p.m. CT.
