Century's Baseball Team Competes In State Tournament

Posted: Updated:
In Class A Baseball Century took runner up in the WDA tournament, but still qualified for state for the first time since 2011. The Patriots know they can play with anybody.

"Since we haven't been here in a couple of years, and no player has played in this tournament, it's just having fun. We want to win games and see how far we can go," says senior pitcher Logan Krivoruchka.

"We are just going to compete hard. We are going to get as far as we can. I see us going a ways. We are just going to have some fun," says senior catcher Chandler Aarfor.

"Well that is the big thing, it's one game at a time. Grand Fork Central is the guy we are looking at right now. You have to get past them before anything else can happen," says head coach Mike Gustavsson.

First pitch of the State A tournament is tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. from Memorial Field in Mandan.
