Century Preview

Century is a win away from having the chance to defend its state soccer title.

The Patriots are playing North after the Spartans dominated the Demons yesterday.

Century's top scorers played a major role in the opening round win over Red River.

Lily Obrigewitch had a goal and two-assists.

I don't know if she's harder to defend or if it's harder to get her name right.

"Especially my freshman and sophomore years because I was just new so people really didn't know how to say my name, but I've played a lot more games. I was in track too. Now, the announcers kind of know how to pronounce my name, but it's funny when we go out of town they kind of say my first name, and then they stumble a little. I know that it's me," says senior Lily Obrigewitch.

"A terror out on the wins. She's so fast with and without the ball. I don't think she loses a step when she's on it. I love to get her isolated one on one with players and just let her run at their outside backs and win the by line with crosses and shots great player out on the flank for us," says head coach Nate Ulness.
