He may not be playing for a Stanley Cup, but he is on track to give himself a chance for one.
Former Bobcats stand out goalie Ryan Faragher became one of the best at the collegiate level and was back in Bismarck to pay a visit to where moving to the next level all started.
So far Faragher has spent time professional in the AHL, adjusting to the new lifestyle.
"Playing in Bismarck really helped me set up my time spent in college and get prepared to play at the college level. Layne understood the goal tending position, because he played that growing up and in college. He knew what it took to get to the next level," says Faragher.
Ryan says he has a little time off before summer training starts, then he heads to Anaheim in the fall for team workouts.
