Minot City Council Offering Extensions for FEMA Trailers

Posted: Updated:

People with FEMA temporary housing units on their property may be breathing a sigh of relief tonight.

The countdown to the FEMA temporary housing unit removal deadline is over and tonight the city council decided that people still living in FEMA Trailers can submit a letter by June 16th to the City Planning Office, stating how much more time they need. Then, an extension could be granted.

If you choose not to submit a letter to the city planning office by June 16th, the city will take action starting the 17th.
