Police Arrest Women for Shoplifting

Two women were arrested yesterday after attempting to steal more than $2,000 of merchandise from Sears in Bismarck.

Employees say around 1:30 p.m., the suspects, Jennifer White Buffalo, 24, and Tonda Grady, 32,  left the store pushing two shopping carts full of unpaid merchandise.

The pair were headed to Mainstay Suites when police caught up with them.

The women are behind bars and police say the incident is under investigation.
