Concrete Pour is a Project Milestone

Posted: Updated:

Today marked a new milestone in the effort to revamp downtown Minot.

More than 150 cubic yards of concrete was poured into one of the two new parking structures in the downtown area. Inspectors were on site to test the concrete at the structure on the corner of 1st St. SW and 2nd Ave.

Digging for the structure began early in the spring, and the work will continue throughout the fall to make downtown Minot a little more accessible. Project Superintendent Al Reichow explained that the completed project will make it a lot easier to find parking in downtown Minot.

The Renaissance parking structure is part of a $140 million investment to redevelop downtown Minot.
