Heritage Center Displays Historical Artifact for 125th Celebration

Posted: Updated:

North Dakota is celebrating the big 125th tomorrow at the Heritage Center and on Capitol Lawn.

The statewide event will be featuring home-grown entertainment, food, fine arts and games. Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Heritage Center to see a new exhibit created just for the anniversary celebration.

An artifact that shouldn't be missed, and created by North Dakotans.

"South Dakota is bringing the pen that was used by President Benjamin Harris used to sign the proclamation that brought North Dakota into statehood. So, that's going to be very special. It's going to be on display a brief time in the afternoon," says anniversary coordinator Janean Rambulgh.
